The Regia Bridge
The Bridge is a small free app you open on the booth computer while you use Regia. It does what a browser cannot do alone: it sends and receives packets on the local network.
How to use it
- Download the file for your system and open it. If the browser warns that the file is not commonly downloaded, choose “Keep”. On Windows, if you see “Windows protected your PC”, choose “More info” and then “Run anyway”. On Mac, open the zip and the first time right-click “Regia Ponte.command” and choose “Open”.
- Keep the Bridge window open during rehearsals and the show. It logs what it is doing.
- In Regia open Connections › Bridge and turn on “Connect to the Bridge”. If Chrome asks for permission to access other apps and services on the device, allow it. The status turns green.
What it is for
- Networked lights with Art-Net and sACN
- OSC commands to digital mixers, QLab, Resolume, TouchOSC
- Incoming OSC from Stream Deck (via Companion) and TouchOSC
- Power, shutter and input for PJLink projectors
- TCP, UDP and HTTP commands to any networked device
- Remote power-on for computers (Wake-on-LAN)
Security
The Bridge listens only on your computer (address 127.0.0.1), accepts commands only from regia.hopholm.com pages and talks only to devices on the local network: no internet addresses. It collects no data and quits when you close its window.
